In Tatarstan because of the situation with winter crops was introduced the state of emergency
The corresponding order was signed on May 2 by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
The document notes that the state of emergency in accordance with federal and republican legislation is introduced “in order to prevent a threat to food security resulting from adverse weather factors that led to the death of winter crops”.
This regime was introduced on the territory of 43 municipal districts of the republic. The heads of districts and the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan should develop measures to overcome the consequences of an emergency within five days.
We remind, in Tatarstan winter crops died in an area of over 120 thousand hectares, and in general, more than half of crops were seriously affected. The damage from the incident is estimated at 1.5 billion rubles.
