Marat Akhmetov: The prior task for today is to complete the closure of moisture in a short period
The Vice-Premier of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov reported on the current rates of spring field work at the republican meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The meeting was held by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nigmatullin took part in the work.
The minister said that in all regions of the republic, work is actively underway on feeding and harrowing of winter crops and perennial grasses. At present, about 500 thousand hectares or 46% of the plan have been fed, including winter crops on an area of 287 thousand hectares, perennial grasses - 192 thousand hectares.
Zainsky, Sarmanovsky, Tukaevsky districts completed top dressing of winter crops a few days ago. Aktanyshsky, Alkeyevsky, Tetyushsky and Yutazinsky areas are close to completion.
In the next few days it is necessary to harrow over an area of 2.85 million hectares. Today, surface tillage has been performed on the sites of more than 800 thousand hectares or 26%, of which winter crops are 78 thousand hectares (14%), perennial grasses - 205 thousand hectares (42%), plow and steam - 536 thousand hectares ( 26%). “The priority task for today is to complete the closure of moisture not only at the grasslands, but also for winter and perennial grasses in a short period,” said Marat Akhmetov.
For the moment, a very early sowing barley started in Almetyevsk, Aznakaevsk, Aksubaevsk, Aktanysh, Bavly, Bugulma, Drozhzhanov, Yelabuga, Zainsk, Leninogorsk, Menzelinsk, Muslyumov, Nurlat, Sarmanov, Cheremshan, Chistopol and Yutazinsky Districts.
The Minister noted the ambiguous situation in winter crops. “Autumn was a difficult time for winter crops. Due to the lack of moisture, about 25% of the areas of winter crops spent the winter in a rather poor condition. Even plants drown in the optimal time raised only in September. These are mainly Pre-Volga (Buinskaya) and West-Zakamskaya (Nurlatskaya) zones of the republic, ”said Marat Akhmetov. He reminded that the cleaning of 1 square meter must have at least 500 productive spikes.
According to the Head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, about 40% of the financial costs during the sowing campaign fall on the purchase of mineral fertilizers. He noted that last year the task was to accumulate at least 70 kg of active ingredient per hectare. Today in the country there are 47.2 kg AI / ha. Good performance is demonstrated by Zainsky, Tukaevsky, Tetyushsky, Baltasinsky, Sabinsky, Atninsky, Sarmanovsky, Nurlatsky districts. At the same time,Agryzsky, Cheremshansky, Apastovsky, Novosheshminsky and Tyulyachinsky districts have accumulated not enough fertilizers.
