In Tatarstan seven districts have begun to close the moisture on the fields
In Tatarstan, in seven municipal districts, water was being closed on the fields. As Irek Sadykov, the head of the agriculture development department of the ministry, noted, the farmers of the Yutazinsky, Aznakaevsky, Almetyevsky, Nurlatsky, Alekseevsky, Zainsky, Sarmanovsky municipal districts were the first to start this work in the republic.
“Today harrowing of winter crops, perennial grasses and steam has been carried out on an area of 3.5 thousand hectares,” said Irek Sadykov.
In total, moisture will be closed in the fields over an area of 3.1 million hectares, including 2 million hectares of plowland and steam.
Spring feeding of winter wheat and rye, perennial grasses is gaining momentum in the republic. “As of April 11, 25.5 thousand hectares of winter crops and perennial crops were supplemented against 4.7 thousand hectares by this date last year,” said Irek Sadykov.
According to him, the total feeding of winter crops should be carried out on an area of 553 thousand hectares, perennial grasses - on 487.4 thousand hectares.
Today, spring field work is carried out in 13 municipalities. There are Aznakaevsky, Sarmanovsky, Bavlinsky, Muslyumovsky, Tukaevsky among them and a number of other areas.
