From April 17 to 20, the IX International Veterinary Congress "One World - One Health" will be held in Svetlogorsk with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
It will be the main scientific event of the veterinary industry, not only in Russia, but also throughout the Eurasian Economic Union and in the CIS countries. It will be attended by representatives of government agencies, the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), as well as domestic and foreign experts, among them scientists and animal husbandry and veterinary practitioners from the UK, Denmark, Austria, Poland, China, the United States, Australia and other countries.
The event is aimed at raising the profile of the veterinary profession and discussing scientific and practical trends in the development of veterinary medicine.
As part of the business program of the Congress, there is a meeting of the heads of the executive authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation in the field of veterinary medicine. Here participants will discuss the need to ensure a new level of veterinary services in order to ensure the export of agricultural products in the current economic conditions. The event will open with the traditional key conference “One World - One Health”.
The program of the congress also includes the following conferences: “Modern scientific developments and advanced technologies for industrial poultry farming”, “Actual veterinary aspects of dairy and beef cattle breeding”, “Actual veterinary problems in industrial pig breeding”, “Actual issues of the treatment of veterinary drugs in the EEU countries ".
Topical issues of the industry will be discussed at round tables: “African swine fever”, “Foot and mouth disease - problems and solutions”, “Rabies” and “Aquaculture: production and veterinary support issues”.
