Today, on March 29, an event was held in Kazan Agrarian University on career guidance and employment for future graduates.

Nikolay Titov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan drew attention to the fact that the students gathered there are the very people who want to connect their lives with the agro-industrial complex. “The fate of the republic in the sphere of agriculture is in your hands,” he said.

Then Nikolay Titov spoke about the support programs for young specialists in rural areas and scholarship programs. “Coming to work at the village after graduating from the university, the young specialist receives from the Ministry“ lifting ”in the amount of 300 thousand rubles, as well as a monthly supplement to the basic salary at the place of work in the amount of the minimum wage (from 1 January 2019 the minimum wage in the Russian Federation is 11 280 rubles per month) during the year. In addition, there is a subsidy issued for the purchase or construction of housing.

During the event, students asked questions, offered their ideas and projects. There are a lot of active and single-minded children among the students of the University. One of those is Nurgaleev Samat from Tetyushsky district. He is actively involved in the life of his University and he helped in the organization of this event. “Such events are very useful for students,” he says. Everyone wants to determine in advance the place of work and not worry about the future, ”says the student.

But Gabbasova Kamilya from Aktanyshsky district, who studies for an accountant, has already decided for herself that she will return to work in her native Aktanysh, but she has not yet decided on a specific place of work. Therefore, she came with interest to this event.

Gadelshin Rakhim from the Leninogorsk region also wants to return to his district. He plans to work as an agronomist. “This is a very popular profession in the countryside. As part of the practice, I have already participated in the sowing and harvesting campaigns. After that, I got some self-confidence. I think I will succeed, ”he says proudly.

After the completion of the official part, students had the opportunity to come up and individually, more substantively communicate with representatives of organizations.

Graduates of the Agrarian University are quite in demand in the labor market of agriculture. Many employers are trying to attract a young specialist before the graduation.

It should be noted that the University together with the Ministry are being done a lot of work on graduates' employment: annual meetings with employers, round tables, etc. This allows not only to consolidate the young specialist in the specialty, but also helps young people to find a job immediately after graduation, build a successful career and find his place in life or even his vocation.
