On March 26, an expanded meeting of the Council and the Presidium of the Association of Farmers, Peasant Farms and Agricultural Consumer Cooperatives of Tatarstan was held in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov.
The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Association of Farmers Kamiyar Baitemirov, presenting information on the implementation of the Decree of the XIX Congress of the Association.
The Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Gabdrakhmanov told the audience about the sowing areas planned for 2019 and the needs of farms for such resources, fuel and lubricants, spare parts, seeds, fertilizers, etc., reminding that mineral fertilizers are the basis for obtaining high yields crops and replenishment of the removal of mineral elements from the soil.
“Fertilizers and high-quality seed material not only increase yields, but also make it possible to resist drought effectively,” said Ildus Gabdrakhmanov, “which is important taking into account the dry season forecasted in June.”
He also told about agricultural insurance, as a real opportunity for agricultural producers to conduct stable activities, to forecast incomes in advance, without fear of drought or hail. “Since the level of risks in agriculture is very high, the state is implementing a state support program, under which agricultural producers can receive a reimbursement of up to 95% of the cost of paying insurance premiums,” Ildus Gabdrakhmanov continued. Also, the Deputy Minister talked about other areas of support for agricultural producers.
In continuation of the event, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov told about the extension of support measures for the purchase of mineral fertilizers until May 1, reminding producers that to receive funds it is necessary to document the accumulation of a crop of at least 30 kg/ha. The Minister instructed the Chairman of the Farmers' Association to bring information about the measures of state support to each farmer and to carry out intensive work in the field. In addition, in order to develop Zainsky Agropark and ensure the interests of farmers in the sale of products, Marat Akhmetov instructed the Farmers Association to enter the Supervisory Board of the agropark.
During the meeting, the heads of the peasant farms of the republic shared their problems and suggestions, the participants of the event asked their questions. Marat Akhmetov personally answered all the questions of farmers and suggested ways to solve existing problems.
