In Leninogorsk district, livestock breeders were trained in the prevention of livestock diseases in farms
Last week, a practical workshop for livestock breeders was held in Leninogorsk district. About a hundred livestock breeders from 11 farms of the district and specialists of the district agricultural administration became participants in the training.
The event was attended by the heads and specialists of the Department of Agriculture and Food and Veto-union, heads of agricultural enterprises, livestock specialists, veterinary doctors, operators of machine milking of cows, etc.
During the theoretical part of the workshop, livestock breeders were introduced to advanced feeding and milking technologies, methods of preventing and treating diseases, increasing milk productivity and conditions of cattle.
The head of the district Department of Agriculture and Food Ilnur Shamardanov made a report before the meeting. In his speech, he focused on the need to respect the technology of keeping cows to get a healthy and viable offspring.
“Time dictates a new attitude to production, it is necessary to move away from old-fashioned methods, it's time to move on to modern conditions and modern standards. Without due attention of managers and the workers themselves, we will not achieve high performance. It is necessary to be more careful to the issues of feeding and housing, ”he noted.
The practical part of the seminar was held on the territory of the dairy farm department "Yaltau". Here, participants discussed issues related to the operation of milking and refrigeration equipment, general hygiene on livestock farms, the rules of milking and the organization of an automatic water supply system.
