The Ministry discussed the prospects for cooperation between Tatarstan and Japan

Today, a delegation from Japan headed by Hiroshi Miyazaki, Director General of JFR Co. Ltd., visited Tatarstan. First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nikolay Titov met with representatives of the delegation at the Palace of Farmers.

A representative of T.O World Food Japan Kodo Nishi, a representative of T.O World Food and Okitsumo Ulas Cedar, as well as the general director of the European division of Calpis office for feed additives Nobumitsu Akai also took part in the Japanese delegation.

During the meeting, Nikolay Titov presented to the guests the agro-industrial complex of the republic, drawing attention to the most relevant areas for interaction today, including the export of Tatarstan-made products.

“Ensuring the joint production of high-quality, environmentally friendly products and access to Asian markets are promising areas for mutually beneficial cooperation,” said the first deputy minister. “We are ready to work on it.”

They discussed cooperation issues such as the implementation of a project on the localization of high-tech production of fodder prebiotic additives for birds, which makes it possible to completely abandon the use of antibiotics in Tatarstan, the creation of a joint venture for the cultivation of top quality poultry meat and its export, introduction of wastewater cleaning technology at agricultural enterprises and implementation of a greenhouse project for growing environmentally friendly products without using soil (vegetable, leaf and flower crops) in the Republic of Tatarstan by T.O World Food.

At the end of the meeting took place a discussion of the most promising projects and an exchange of views on the further development of business relations.
