Marat Akhmetov took part in the opening of the new building of the Sabinsky Agrarian College
On February 25, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov visited the Sabinsky municipal district. During the visit with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, took part in the opening of the new building of the Sabinsky Agrarian College.
Today, 437 people study at the college. Training is carried out in areas such as agricultural mechanization, economics and accounting, electricity, construction, operation and repair of agricultural machinery.
The new building has 13 classrooms in which there are educational laboratories and workshops and an assembly hall for 370 seats. All cabinets of theoretical training have interactive equipment.
Sabinsky district has important competitive advantages for the development of entrepreneurship. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said it at a meeting of the Council of the Sabinsky District, dedicated to the results of the socio-economic development of the municipality in 2018.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the share of small and medium-sized businesses in the economy of the Sabinsky district reaches 35%. “You have all the opportunities to bring this figure up to 50 percent. You are just in an hour from Kazan. A railway line passes through the area, there are two railway stations - Shemordan and Ishtugan. It is necessary to use these advantages to the maximum, to attract investors, to support local entrepreneurs”, said the President of Tatarstan.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that special attention is paid to the support of villages in Tatarstan. This year, 40 different programs will be implemented in the republic, more than half of which are aimed at the development of villages and small settlements. This year Sabinsky district will participate in 25 programs.
