Today, the nineteenth congress of the Association of Farmers, Peasant Farms and Agricultural Consumer Cooperatives of Tatarstan was held at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Republic of Tatarstan. 177 delegates from all municipal districts of the republic participated in the congress.
The event was opened by the chairman of the Association of Farmers Kamiyar Baitemirov. In his report, he noted that state support measures allow farmers to develop and increase production volumes. Over the past 7 years, more than 2.6 billion rubles have been allocated to grant support to the agro-industrial complex of the republic: 975 million rubles to beginner farms, 1 145 million rubles to family livestock farms, and 526.6 million rubles to agricultural consumer cooperatives.
Heads of peasant farms also shared their experience. So, the head of KFH of Aznakaevsky district, Ramis Sakhapov, noted that the creation of a consumer cooperative allowed farmers and personal subsidiary farms of the region to get 3 rubles more for each liter of milk, to get their own milk truck and to ensure the work of a regular veterinarian for the needs of farmers.
Aigul Khanova, a hereditary poultry farmer from the Tukayevsky district, shared her practice of growing unique breeds of hens and broilers, told what difficulties the poultry breeders face in their work and told about possible ways of solving them based on personal experience.
Ilshat Khabibullin, chairman of the association of farmers and peasant farms in Zainsky district, told about the newly opened Agropark in Zainsk, which has become a good platform for farmers to sell their products. He also noted colleagues from the Muslyumovsky district, whose products are in special demand in Zainsk and invited other farmers to cooperate. The plans of Agropark include building their own slaughterhouse and building houses for members of the cooperative.
Oleg Vlasov, Director of Agropark Kazan, also told about the unique technological process of production’ arrival on sale. Answering the delegates' questions about farmers who work on their own farms and cannot stand behind the counter all day, he mentioned the possibility of purchasing and re-selling of products by the Agropark, and some special preferential terms for agricultural producers.
Zufar Bayazitov, chairman of Ecoproduct agricultural cooperative from Kukmorsky District, shared his own technologies of processing agricultural products and, indicating the shortage of qualified personnel, proposed the creation of specialized training courses on technology and processing of agricultural products.
All questions and proposals of delegates were promptly considered and resolved during the congress, and those requiring detailed study were taken up for consideration in further work.
Expressing his respect to the farmers, the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture of Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov made a final speech. “We managed to create a reliable core in the republic - a class of farmers who by their own independent work gained respect and recognition”.
