7,745 livestock animals have been slaughtered in slaughter units of Tatarstan cooperatives societies for 11 months of 2017. In the slaughter unit of Menzelinsk district consumers society 2,047 livestock animals (117%) have been slaughtered, in Vysokaya Gora consumers society – 2,023 animals (114%), in “Zainskiy” – 1,403 animals (88%).

Alekseevskoe, Chistopol and Rybnaya Sloboda municipal districts are falling behind in this sphere. Specialists of the Alliance of Tatarstan Consumers Societies note that it is necessary to provide highly-productive usage of each slaughter unit and to inform the population about the opportunities to slaughter cattle.
