Marat Akhmetov reported on modernization of agricultural machinery fleet of the republic

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov reported on technical modernization and technical availability for the field work in 2018 at a session in the House of Government of the republic of Tatarstan, today.

The videoconferencing session with all municipal districts was carried out by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

Marat Akhmetov announced that harvesting of sugar beetroots had been finished in the republic. The gross yield was 3 million 130 thousand tons at the average crop yield of 423 dt/ha, which is the best figure in Tatarstan. However, about 1 million tons of root crops is left on the fields, which are to be distributed to the plats. 730 vehicles will be exploited, with the help of which about 15,000 tons of root crops will be transported daily.

Due to the late ripening of sunflowers and the high humidity of seeds, vast lands with oil crops have to be left till the end of November. These days agriculturalists of the republic have reached the productivity of 3,500 ha per day. About 33,000 ha of fields are left to be cleared. The crop yield is 14.3 dt/ha.

The same situation is with grains. About 16,000 ha of fields are left to be cleared (less than 7%). The work is going to be finished within 4-5 days.

After that, the minister spoke about modernization of the machine tractor fleet of the republic. Thus, this year over 650 agricultural enterprises purchased almost 3,000 different kinds of agricultural machinery owing to the program “40x60”, the total amount of subsidies made up 1.55 billion rubles. With the aim to make modernization of the machine tractor fleet faster, partial reimbursement of leasing costs was also provided.

Marat Akhmetov also mentioned the “Tractor program”, which enabled agricultural enterprises to purchase energy packed tractors with the capacity of 300 CV and more at half price. Within 4 months of the current year, 108 modern powerful tractors have been bought.

Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan noted that Atnya (181 CV per 100 ha), Aktanysh (183 CV), Kukmor (207 CV), Baltasi (201 CV), Nizhniy Kamsk (224 CV) and Saby (237 CV) municipal districts are the most self-sufficient in energy supply. The weak districts are Cheremshan (69 CV), Kamskoe Ustye (104 CV), Menzelinsk (124 CV), Bavly (127 CV), Almetyevsk (127 CV), Novosheshminsk (132 CV).

“Those enterprises and farm households, which purchase multi-functional machinery of high capacity, show great productive efficiency. Their yield is almost 100,000 rubles from 1 ha of arable lands. The figure is 3-5 times lower in those harm households, which are not self-sufficient in energy supply”, - said Marat Akhmetov.

He announced that a week before in all municipal districts of the republic machinery had been accepted for autumn-winter maintenance. “In case machinery is kept not properly – under unfavourable conditions – it brings up to 20% of damage. Annual damage from corrosion can reach 25% of the machinery cost”, - stated the minister.

Within the repairing season, it is necessary to provide readiness of the machinery for the field work in 2018. Marat Akhmetov reminded directors of enterprises and agricultural holding companies that traditionally in the winter all dealers and plants provided seasonal discounts for spare parts. By the spring the prices for them will be by 1.5 times higher.

In conclusion the minister noted that since the following week topical workshops would be carried out with the aim to accelerate to pace of the repair work.

In his turn, Rustam Minnikhanov added that modernization of material and technical facilities of agricultural enterprises was one of the main factors of efficient agriculture.
