Regional championship “Young professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) started in Kazan

The regional championship “Young professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) started in Kazan today. Within several days, young specialists will compete in 91 competences and junior specialists – in 23 competences.

Competition in the section “Exploitation of agricultural machinery” took place in the Institute of mechanization and technical service of the FSBEI HE “Kazan State Agrarian University”. Young specialists were to perform tasks in 5 modules: finding out technical malfunctions of electrical equipment of MT3 tractor and their repairing, maintenance of the gas distribution mechanism of the engine of “John Dir” tractor, repairing, completing units and adjustment of a baler “Pelican”, repairing and adjustment of a cutter of “Akros-585” harvester-thresher, adjustment of a reversible plough.

Ten students from agrarian institutions of higher and secondary vocational education are competing in this competence.

It is worth mentioning that following the results of the regional championship the best representatives of the republic will be defined to participate in the federal branch-wise competitions and in the final of the National championship “Young professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) 2018 in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
