V All-Russia Convention of Agricultural Cooperatives takes place in Moscow on November 16-17, 2017. The organizing parties are the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Russia’s Association of Peasant Farm Enterprises and Agricultural Cooperatives, “Chayanov” Russian Alliance, the Alliance of Rural Credit Cooperatives, “Agrocontrol” and the Federal Alliance of Agricultural Consumers Cooperatives.
Break-out sessions are held on November 16, while the plenary session is held on November 17 and will be headed by Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexander Tkachev. Delegates and participants of the convention will discuss the problems of legal coverage for agricultural cooperatives, the issues how to improve state support of agricultural cooperatives, the role of cooperative societies in development of rural territories.
Over 600 people are expected to participate in the convention, among which there will be heads of regional AIC administrations, representatives of cooperative societies and scientific communities, development institutions and banking.
