Zonal sessions on efficiency increase of cattle breeding production finished in Tatarstan

The series of zonal sessions on cattle feeding and keeping, and efficiency increase of cattle breeding production have finished in Tatarstan. The sessions were held in Kazan, Zainsk and Nurlat.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nazip Khazipov, Head of the Chief State Agricultural Directorate for Pedigree Cattle Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Zaripov, Director Deputy of the Chief Directorate for Veterinary of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Airat Garaev, specialists of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, heads of local agricultural directorates, directors and specialists of Tatarstan farm households and enterprises.

Nazip Khazipov gave the report “Milk production. Peculiarities of feeding of high-producing cows under the conditions of the current year”. He spoke about the records in cattle breeding for 9 months of 2017 and paid special attention to the issues of keeping and feeding of livestock during wintering, as well as to the efficiency of investing into material and technological base of milk cattle breeding.

Rishat Zaripov, Airat Garaev and directors of agricultural organizations also gave reports. Rishat Zaripov spoke on reproduction of livestock, while Airat Garaev reported on the state of the veterinary service.

The aim of the sessions is to help Tatarstan agricultural producers to organize successful cattle wintering and to provide increase of cattle production in AIC organizations, peasant-farm enterprises and personal subsidiary plots.
