Training courses for operators of artificial insemination of livestock in Tatar Institute for Agro-Business Personnel Development

Training courses for operators of artificial insemination of livestock took place in the FSBEI FVE “Tatar Institute for Agro-Business Personnel Development”.

Specialists of the Chief State Agricultural Directorate for Pedigree Cattle Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Chief Directorate for Veterinary of Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, professors and tutors of Tatar Institute for Agro-Business Personnel Development and Kazan State Academy for Veterinary Medicine named after N.E.Bauman gave lectures.

The students learnt the basics of animal reproduction, physiology and adaptation of cattle to different conditions of technological process, feeding and keeping. The issues concerning how to reach maximum milk productivity of cows, develop a plan of zootechnical activities, etc. were also examined.

After that, the students had a field class in OOO “Berezovka” in Laishevo municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. There they were practicing the skills of artificial insemination and examined practical aspects of reproduction management on a dairy farm, zootechnical management and section.
