Agricultural fairs in Kazan

Today agricultural fairs took place on 10 Kazan market places. Products amounting to about 33.6 million rubles were presented at the fairs, 507 vehicles were exploited. The fairs were inspected by Deputy Ministers of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, specialists of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Chief Directorate for Veterinary of Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers.

In Novosavinovskiy district of Kazan agricultural producers from Verkhniy Uslon and Kaibitsy municipal districts presented their goods. A wide range of products was presented there: meat, fish, eggs, milk, cheese, butter, sugar, flour, cereal, potatoes, vegetables, honey and others.

“22 vehicles brought products amounting to 2.2 million rubles. Heads of villages and settlements, agro firms, peasant farm enterprises and personal subsidiary plots presented their products, - said Chief at the Directorate for Agriculture and Food of Verkhniy Uslon municipal district Rashit Gubaidullin. – It is wonderful that today the weather is fine and a lot of people have come to the fair”.

Sufiya Aleutdinova, a representative of the personal subsidiary plot “Khamidullina N.Z.” offered people pasta. “We launched production of pasta in March and take part in the fair for the 4th time, - she noted. – We have loyal customers, who say that our pasta is of high quality”.

Lenar Tukhvatullin, a resident of Kazan, came to the fair to buy potatoes and vegetables. “We do not have our own garden, - said Lenar Tukhvatullin. – Where else could one buy top quality goods of Tatarstan agricultural producers? And what is more important – to buy them at attractive prices. We are really grateful for organization of such fairs”.

Director Deputy of the department of foodstuff market development in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Renat Suleimanov reminded that fairs take place on 7 market places of Kazan today. “Beside this, there are fairs on 3 market places in Naberezhnye Chelny, 1 – in the village of Oktyabrskiy of Zelenodolsk municipal district and other towns and Tatarstan regional centers. For example, in such towns as Almetyevsk, Leninogorsk, Bugulma, Elabuga, Zainsk people have an opportunity to visit agricultural fairs, - he said. – Today a lot of people have come here, products are sold very well. The prices are traditionally by 20-30% lower than in retail chains”.
