Today, a videoconferencing session with participation of all constituent entities of the country took place in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. It was devoted to the Unified Federal Information System of Farmlands.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Gabdrakhmanov, chiefs of departments at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Druzhin and Irek Sadykov, Department Chief of “IT Center of the Republic of Tatarstan” Georgiy Tsoi and Branch Director Deputy of the FSBI “Rosselkhozcenter” (“Russian Agricultural Center”) of the Republic of Tatarstan Niyaz Bulatov took part in the session.
The Unified Federal Information System of Farmlands includes also the lands which are used for cultivation of agricultural crops in other categories. Data consolidation from all sources of the Unified Federal Information System of Farmlands will give the full picture of the structure of crop rotation in Russia, which in its turn will enable agriculturalists to apply scientific approaches in order to increase land productivity and to solve other important problems.
Namely, there are 230,000 ha of farmlands in the republic of Tatarstan, which are included into other categories. The majority of them are used for the purpose specified.
