8% of fields with sunflowers have been cleared in OOO “Agrofirm “Aznakai” in Aznakaevskiy municipal district of the republic of Tatarstan

Harvesting of sunflowers keeps going on in OOO “Aznakai” Agro-firm” of Aznakaevskiy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. “This year 8,900 ha of fields were sown with sunflowers. 18 combine harvesters are being exploited now, - said Ramil Kalimullin, an agriculturalist of the enterprise. – Soon the number of machinery units will be increased. As of today, 8% of field shave been thrashed, the average crop yield is 22-23 dt/ha”.

Ainur Salakhov and his assistant Ilfat Gazizov are combine operators working at sunflower harvesting. Ainur is 30 years old, he operates combine the second season, while Ilfat is 19 and this is his first time when he participates in harvesting. “This year I have graduated from the college. I like my job. The salary is paid in time”, - said Ilfat.

As of today, 11,900 ha of fields with sunflowers have been thrashed in the Republic of Tatarstan (9% of the plan). 19,800 tons of oil seeds have been milled at the average crop yield of 16.6 dt/ha.
