Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexander Tkachev congratulated Tatarstan agriculturalists to their professional holiday

Today Tatarstan agriculturalists celebrate their professional holiday – the Day of Agriculture and Processing Industry Workers. Celebration took place in Kazan Tennis Academy and about 1,500 people came there. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov congratulated the guests.

The President of the Republic of Tatarstan received a telegram of congratulations from Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexander Tkachev, which says: “Dear Mr President! The republic of Tatarstan is traditionally one of the most developed constituent entities of the Russian Federation being a part of Volga Federal District. Year after year, hard work of Tatarstan agricultural producers caters to the needs of people, food and processing industries with foodstuff and raw materials. This year Tatarstan agriculturalists showed their great skills in agricultural production once again.

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation congratulates all agricultural workers of the Republic of Tatarstan to the rich yield of 5 million tons of grain. I am sure that your professional skills and experience of agriculturalists together with daily work on development of agro-technologies and introduction of new promising inventions into production will let agricultural manufacturers of the republic keep a high level of horticulture production in the future and will become a reliable basis for food supply security of the Russian Federation.
