Marat Akhmetov congratulated stidents and teachers of Kazan State Agrarian University to the Knowledge Day

Today Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov took part in the celebratory assembly confined to the Knowledge Day at Kazan State Agrarian University.

The greeting speech was given by Rector of the University Djaudat Faizrakhmanov. He noted that this day 4 million 400 thousand students all over Russia started studying at higher education institutions. Kazan State Agrarian University welcomes 1,400 first year students. Djaudat Faizrakhmanov emphasized that the university provides great opportunities not only to get higher education but also to get physical development. All conditions are created for that. Students can also unlock their potential in the Folk Theatre of Kazan State Agrarian University headed by Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Robert Galiev.

In his greeting speech Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov spoke on the state of Tatarstan AIC. “Our republic are a unique constituent entity of the Russian Federation, which invests a lot of money into development of agriculture. Owing to these investments life and production in the rural area have changed a lot within 10 recent years. Work in the sphere of agriculture is getting more interesting and attractive. Kazan State Agrarian University is an important higher educational institution for agriculture “, - noted the minister.

After that, he spoke on the state supportive measures, which the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan provided to young specialists.

“Kazan State Agrarian University can help to unlock your potential so that you will change for the better our agriculture. The future of AIC depends on you, - emphasized Marat Akhmetov. – I congratulate you to the Knowledge Day and wish you a successful academic year, creative achievements and implementation of your plans”.

After that he presented the students most actively participated in field work with certificates of appreciation. The scholarship of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan will be paid to these students.
