According to the recent data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, 1,302,700 tons of grains have been thrashed in the republic.

Pursuant to Decree of the Russian President №560 dated August 6, 2014 “Special economic measures for safety and security arrangements of the Russian Federation” the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation proposed a draft decree according to which the embargo was placed on import of agricultural production, raw materials and foodstuffs from the countries which had imposed sanctions for Russian citizens and companies.

According to the recent data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan 395,800 ha with grains and pulses have been thrashed, which is 23% of the total harvesting area.
