The closing ceremony and summing up of the 2nd All-Russian Competition of animal Breeders of dairy and meat cattle breeding took place in Kazan.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Corporation of Small and Medium-sized enterprises, SME Bank, the Union of consumer cooperation organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan and the branch union of producers and processors of vegetable raw materials signed a roadmap on the development of harvesting and processing centers of berry crops, vegetable raw materials. The project will be supervised by the State Budgetary Institution "Competence Center for the Development of Agricultural Cooperation in the Republic of Tatarstan". They will organize work to attract active rural residents and will assist in the preparation of business plans and further support of entrepreneurs.

A panel discussion on the digitalization of the agro-industrial complex was held on the basis of the Innopolis special economic zone. The event was held with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan as part of the business program of the second All-Russian competition of animal breeders.

During the working visit, the Minister of Food and Water Security of the United Arab Emirates Mariam Bint Mohammed Al-Mehairi, visited agricultural enterprises of Laishevsky district. They were accompanied by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan informs that the international agro-industrial exhibition AGROVOLGA will be open in Laishevsky district from July 1 to 3.

The delegation of the Ministry of Food and Water Security of the United Arab Emirates, led by Mrs. Maryam Bint Mohammed AL-MUHAIRI, got interested in the sugar products of Agrosila. During the visit, they got acquainted with the activities and production volumes of JSC "Zainsky Sugar" and studied the experience of production of halal products. The head of the ministry was also told about the company's positions on the Russian sugar market, the development of investment projects, the modernization of enterprises and the principle of the "field – counter" chain.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan is actively working to attract the younger generation to agricultural production and present the agricultural professions. As part of this work, the departments of agriculture in various districts organize excursions to farms and agricultural enterprises.

Today in Tatarstan, the opening of the 2nd All-Russian competition of zootechnicians-breeders of dairy and meat cattle breeding took place.  The event was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov, Director of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Butusov, Head of the Main State Agricultural Department of Breeding in Animal Husbandry of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Zaripov, General Director of JSC GPP "Elite" Fannur Zaripov, head of the Main Veterinary Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Almaz Khisamutdinov and other responsible persons.

More than 10 thousand tourists visited last year the ostrich farm of the peasant farm "Kotdusov" of the Vysokogorsky district.

Today, a seminar on the current situation in the fields and measures to preserve the potential of agricultural crops was held in the Aksubaevsky district with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov. During the seminar, the participants discussed methods of forming the harvest of spring crops with a shortage of precipitation in leguminous industrial crops.
