On August 19, in the Tukaevsky district, a zonal seminar-meeting was held to increase the business activity of the villagers. The participants of the event were heads of districts and rural settlements, heads of private farms, family farms and agricultural cooperatives from 14 regions of the republic. The meeting with farmers was the final in a series of zonal meetings in August this year, the first three were held in the Tyulyachinsky, Aksubaevsky and Zelenodolsky districts. This year, as part of the seminars, a new project of grant support for novice farmers and agricultural cooperatives, Agrostartup, was launched. In addition, a Memorandum on the creation of the international scientific and production cluster “Applied Biotechnology for Agriculture” was signed.

From August 23 to 26 in the Republic of Bashkortostan the XXVII All-Russian contest for the best by profession among operators of machine milking cows will be held.

On August 17, the winners of the third five-day harvest were awarded in the Sarmanovsky district.

For livestock breeders and veterinarians of the region in Kukmor, at the Central Stadium named after Rinat Mukhametshin, a traditional Sabantuy was held.

In Tatarstan, the first million tons of grain of a new crop was threshed. According to current data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of August 16, grain and leguminous crops were threshed from 336.3 thousand ha in the republic, which is 23.7% of the harvesting area.

Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov visited the Alekseevsky, Cheremshansky and Aksubaevsky districts in order to get acquainted with the harvesting process.

On August 15, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov, got acquainted with the activities of the meat processing complex Kausar in the Laishevsky District.

22 young Tatarstan people from rural schools will take part in the final stage of the contest "Agro NTI - 2019". Representatives of the Volgograd, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk and Saratov regions will compete for the title of best. The guys will demonstrate the skills of using digital technologies and solving robotics problems in the field of agriculture. Participants have to go through engineering competitions in several areas of the agricultural industry: AgroMeteo, AgroCosmos, AgroCopters and AgroRobots.
