The farmers of Tatarstan harvested the first million tons for this year harvest
In Tatarstan, the first million tons of grain of a new crop was threshed. According to current data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of August 16, grain and leguminous crops were threshed from 336.3 thousand ha in the republic, which is 23.7% of the harvesting area.
“This morning, 1 million 69.7 thousand tons of grain has been threshed in the republic with a yield of 31.8 c / ha,” said Ildus Gabdrakhmanov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. Zainsky district is the leader in terms of the amount of threshed grain - 71.8 thousand tons. Second place is taken by Sarmanovsky district with 52.6 thousand tons, and the third place is occupied by Aznakaevsky district with 49.2 thousand tons, the deputy minister said.
According to Ildus Gabdrakhmanov, despite adverse weather conditions in late July and early August, harvesting is gradually gaining momentum. More than a third of the forecasted areas were harvested in four bread districts. So, in the Alkeevsky district, grain crops were threshed from 14.6 thousand ha (43.6% of the harvested area), in Zainsky - from 15.1 thousand ha (39.8%), in the Nurlatsky - from 12.6 thousand hectares (39.2%), in Zelenodolsk - from 4.6 thousand hectares (34.8%).
“The highest grain yield is in Zainsky district - today it is 47.5 c / ha. Menzelinsky, Tukaevsky, Mamadyshsky, Tetyushsky and Sarmanovsky districts, where the average yield exceeds 40 kg / ha, are also among the leaders in this indicator ”said Ildus Gabdrakhmanov.
According to the Ministry, as of the same date last year, grain and legumes were harvested from an area of 729.6 thousand hectares in the republic, 2 million 3.6 thousand tons of grain were threshed with a yield of 27.5 c / ha. In 2018, the gross grain harvest in Tatarstan exceeded 3.6 million tons.
