Today at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, a meeting of the republican headquarters on preventing the spread of African swine fever was held in the videoconference mode. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.

Today, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan held a solemn presentation of awards to employees of the state veterinary service, timed to celebrate the Day of the Veterinary Worker of the Russian Federation.

Russian livestock breeders appealed to the National Union of Agricultural Insurers with a request to assess the risk of infection of agricultural animals with a new coronavirus. The Union forwarded the question to the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) and received an answer that the pandemic does not increase the risks of keeping livestock.
