Within the framework of implementation of the programs on support of small and medium size enterprises in the AIC sector, a unique agro-tourist trail has been developed in Bugulma municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan, owing to which over 1,000 people will be able to visit the district.

The tour includes over 20 different places, where guests can try their hand at farming. The key places are a fish farm with rare species of fish, a winery, a rabbit farm, a bee-yard, etc.

“The number of agro-tourists is increasing year after year. It goes without saying that the leaders in this sphere are seaside regions, but, from my point of view, the Republic of Tatarstan having its unique culture and rich natural environment can become one the leading districts of agro-tourism in our country. We are going to develop in this sphere: to add new places for agro-tourism, to cooperate with tour operators from Russia and other countries, to exchange experience. We are going to develop special programs for family recreation, tourist trials for children in the format of quests, as well as special kinds of winter holidays. As of today, Bugulma municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan offers only summer agro-tourism”, - said Linar Zakirov, the head of Bugulma municipal district.
