Press conference on increase in productivity of agricultural crops in “Tatar-Inform” News Agency

A press-conference devoted to the issues of increase in productivity of agricultural crops took place in “Tatar-Inform” News Agency. The following officials were the speakers at the conference: Director General at the Institute of Agrarian Market Conditions Dmitriy Rylko, Public Relation Director at “Singenta” Company in Russia Anton Pushkarev, Distribution Manager at “Singenta” Company Ilnar Nurullin, Director at Development of Farming Branches Department in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Sadykov, Director General at OOO “Rodnik” in Chistopol municipal disdtrict of the Republic of Tatarstan and OOO “Trio” in Alekseevskoe municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan Ramil Akhmentzyanov.

Irek Sadykov spoke on the situation on Tatarstan fields. “In total, the sowing campaign was well-organized and was carried out within the most favourable agro-technical terms, - he said. – The sowing area was 2.9 million ha, as it was in previous years”.

According to his words, cold weather in May and at the beginning of June influenced the plans of farmers. “We fall behind concerning the temperature rate of soils by 140 degrees on average, which it its turn influences a little the development of warm-season crops. At the same time, we have a good situation with grain crops – their biological potential is rather high. Now it is important to preserve it and to harvest grain without losses”, - emphasized Irek Sadykov.

He said that due to weather conditions special attention should be paid to protection of agricultural planting against diseases. Beside this, it is important to remember to carry put anti-weed and anti-pest treatment.

“We are heading for biologization of farming, deep tillage, and green fallow. Every year before sowing starts we organize training for directors and production engineers of enterprises, outline promising trends in crop husbandry. In the period of crop vegetation development we hold online seminars with participation of the best scientists every Friday, where we speak about current tasks concerning crop yield. As of today, we expect to receive rich crop yield”, - concluded Irek Sadykov.
