Over 3,600 tons of milk are produced in Tatarstan daily

As of May 21, 2017, the gross milk yield was 3,652 tons of milk in Tatarstan (105% compared to the level of 2016).

The leader in gross milk production is Kukmor municipal district, where 222 tons of milk were received within May 21, 2017 in agricultural enterprises and farm households. The 2nd place is occupied by Baltasi municipal district (202.8 tons of milk), and the 3rd place is occupied by Atnya municipal district (190 tons of milk).

Good records in increase of milk production were shown by Zainsk (119%), Vysokaya Gora (112%), Sarmanovo (111%), Rybnaya Sloboda (110%), Aksubaevo (109%), Mamadysh and Agryz (108% each), Tyulyachi and Nurlat (107% each), Saby, Aktanysh, Aznakaevo, Elabuga, Tetyushi and Spasskiy (105% each) municipal districts.

The biggest average milk yield per cow is in Atnya municipal district (26.8 kg). In Kukmor municipal district the average milk yield per cow is 21.3 kg, in Saby municipal district – 21.2 kg of milk.
