Today First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Foo of the Republic of Tatarstan Nikolai Titov met the delegation from Bavaria headed by the representative of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Bavaria Johan Grebmeier. The meeting took place in the Place of Agriculturalists.
The following officials also participated in the meeting: Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Gabdrakhmanov, specialists of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan; Chief of the regional government department of agriculture and forest industry of Deggendorf Walter Schwab, research associate of Bavarian Science and Research Institute for Agriculure Winfried Satsger, and representatives of companies and educational institutions.
After having greeted the guests, First Deputy Minister Nikolai Titov noted that he was very happy about interaction of the parties in the sphere of AIC: “Tatarstan is a well-known region all over the world, we have held a number of international events here”, - he emphasized.
After that, the delegation could watch a film about the state and achievements of Tatarstan AIC.
Johan Grebmeier thanked the Tatarstan party for hospitality and spoke on Bavarian agriculture. According to his words, Bavarian agricultural enterprises possess 30-32 ha of cropland each due to the lack of tillable lands. Milk industry is especially well developed in Bavaria – 7.8 million tons of milk are produced there every year. The population of cows is 1.3 million animals.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the opportunities to create joint stock companies and the trends of further cooperation, such as exchange of experience, students internship, etc.
