Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan: gross value of agricultural products for January-February 2017 is 24.9 billion rubles

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov reported on financial-economic records of republican agricultural production for the first 2 months of 2017 at a republican session in the House of Government of the Republic of Tatarstan today.

The video-conferencing session with all municipal districts was held by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov also took part in the session.

Marat Akhemtov reported that the gross value of AIC products in all categories of farm households for January-February of the current year was 24.9 billion rubles, the production index was 101.6%.

There was a great increase in meat processing and poultry products processing – 57%, in cheese and cheese products – 49%, butter – 31%, oil production – over 41%.

The income for 2 months in agricultural enterprises and peasant farm enterprises was 13 billion rubles with the increase of 11%. Namely, the proceeds in cash in milk production was 4.5 billion rubles, in meat and poultry production – 5.4 billion rubles, eggs – 700 million rubles.

The analysis showed that 1 billion rubles were received owing to the price rise for milk, cattle meat and poultry.

“I’d like to note that in the forthcoming period decrease in cost prices is inevitable. Thus, in March the average cost price for milk in the republic was about 26 rub/kg without VAT, which is almost by 1 rub less than it was in January-February”, - said the minister.

High cost prices for milk (27-29 rub) are in Bugulma, Atnya, Mamadysh and Saby municipal districts. The lowest prices are in Arsk, Aksubaevo, Alkeevo and Cheremshan municipal districts.

1 kg of cattle meat costs 130-140 rub in Zainsk, Bavly and Nurlat municipal districts. The cost is lower by 30-40% in Argyz, Vysokaya Gora and Dorzhzhanoe municipal districts. The biggest increase in proceeds in cash from animal breeding is in Tukaevo (142 million rub), Zelenodolsk (118 million rub), Atnya (108 million rub), Kukmor (97 million rub) and Zainsk (74 million rub) municipal districts.

According to the words of Marat Akhmetov, the best incentive for highly productive work is a good salary. The best salaries in AIC sphere are in Tukaevo (32,000 rub), Zelenodolsk (25,000 rub), Pestretsy (25,000 rub), Zainsk (20,000 rub), and Atnya (20,000 rub) municipal districts. A poor situation with salaries is in Kamskoe Ustye, Verkhniy Uslon, Spasskoe, Menzelinsk, Chistopol, Muslyumovo and Agryz municipal districts (11,000-13,000 rub).
