Cattle breeding records for 11 months of 2016 have been discussed in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan today. The session was chaired by Deputy Cattle Breeding Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nazip Khazipov.
Cattle breeding consultants, chiefs of selective-brood services at local agricultural directorates , specialists of “Chief State Agricultural Directorate for Pedigree Livestock Farming in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan”, directors of enterprises took part in the session.
Director at “Biopreparaty” (“Bio products”) Rimma Ibatullina gave an opening speech. She spoke on modern innovative technologies in cattle breeding, feeding and fodder conservation. Branch Director at “Doza Agro” all-mash plant Rafael Gainutdinov spoke on company activities on manufacturing of equipment for all-mash production.
Chief at “Chief State Agricultural Directorate for pedigree livestock farming in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan” Ilsur Zakirov reported on reproduction analysis and calf crop. He spoke on the issues of calf crop, cow insemination and distribution of young breeder. He said that currently a program on cow insemination in the private sector of the republic was being developed.
Deputy Minister Nazip Khazipov made a key note report. According to his words, production figures on cattle breeding are good. Tatarstan livestock population is 737,000 animals, including 246,000 cows. 1,110,000 tons of milk have been produced (103% compared with the previous year level), 340,000 tons of cattle and poultry (104%) including 86,000 tons of livestock (102%). The calf crop is 255,000 animals (101%).
Population of livestock increased in comparison with the last year in Kukmor, Zelenodolsk, Zainsk, Mendeleevsk, Menzelinsk, Baltasi, Atnya, Aktanysh municipal districts. The decrease in population of livestock is in Cheremshan, Chistopol, Alkeevo, Pestretsy, Elabuga, Bavly, Buinsk, Verkhniy Uslon municipal sitricts.
The biggest gain in milk production is in Kukmor, Atnya, Saby, Baltasi, Aktanysh, Aksubaevo, Aznakaevo municipal districts. Poor milk production is in Kamskoe Ustye, Almetyevsk, Chistopol, Tyulyachi, Mamadysh, Buinsk, Novosheshminsk municipal districts.
Deputy Minister draw attention of the participants to cow productivity. “The criterion to provide subsidies per 1 kilo of sold milk from the federal budget in 2017 will be the increase in cow productivity within a financial year reported on in comparison with the previous one”, - emphasized Nazip Khazipov.
During the session it was noted that professional training for specialists and directors of enterprises starts next week. The program is called “Effective management of dairy enterprises: feeding of highly productive cows. Energy packed forage. Stable enterprise economics” and is held with the participation of experts from Milk business academy. The training takes place in Saby municipal district.
Summing up the results of the session, Nazip Khazipov draw attention of the participants to production of milk and nutritious fodder.
