172,500 tons of sugar have been produced from sugar beetroot harvest 2016 in Tatarstan

Processing of sugar beetroot keeps going on in Tatarstan. Since the beginning of the season 1,526,100 tons of sugar beetroot have been distributed to Tatarstan sugar plants, where 854,100 tons have been brought to OAO “Zainsk sakhar” plant, 457,900 tons – OOO “Buinsk sakhar” plant, 214,200 tons – ZAO “Nurlat sakhar” plant.

In total 1,177,500 tons of sugar beetroot have been processed at sugar plants, 172,500 tons of sugar have been produced, the sugar output is 14.4%.

In OAO “Zainsk sakhar” plant 99,600 tons of sugar have been produced, in OOO “Buinsk sakhar” plant – 50,900 tons, in ZAO “Nurlat sakhar” plant – 21,900 tons.
