Over 867,000 tons of sugar beetroot have been processed at Tatarstan sugar plants

Harvesting of sugar beetroot is about to finish in Tatarstan. As of October 25 2016, 2.2 million tons of sugar beetroot have been harvested from 61,100 ha (97% of the plan).

Over 1.2 million tons of sugar beetroot have been brought to sugar plants since the beginning of the season. On average 25,200 tons of sugar beetroot are processed daily at plants.

867,900 tons of sugar beetroot have been processed, 125,900 tons of sugar have been received, the sugar output is 14.2%.

In OAO “Zainsk sakhar” 76,400 tons of sugar have been received, in OOO “Buinsk sakhar” – 35,000 tons, in ZAO “Nurlat sakhar” – 14,400 tons.
