A profound forage base for stable cattle wintering is prepared in OOO named after Musa Dzhalil in Bugulma municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. “There are 4 storage pits with haylage and 2 with corn. This year there is a lot of silage so we had to stay it outside, in the open air. Food reserve can’t hurt, as we all know – when there is fodder, there is milk and meat”, - said deputy director at OOO Ramil Akhmetgaraev.

According to his words, there are 1,000 cattle animals, where 270 animals are dairy cows. Milk is brought o Bugulma milk plant. The population of pigs is 2,200 animals, the population of horses is 250 animals.

In OOO named after Musa Dzhalil 1,100 tons hay, 5,000 tons of haylage, 2,500 tons of silage, 2,000 tons of forage, 180 tons of grain fodder and 150 tons of corn grain have been preserved for wintering.

Cattle are kept on 7 farms. There was overhaul on 2 farms owing to the republican program.

“We have a professional staff, there are no problems with employees. There are 15 people employed on the farm. They are such hard working specialists as Irina Vishnevskaya (a calf-woman), Andrey Khiteev (a cattleman), Tatyana Mishakina (an inseminator), Rimma Zubairova and Svetlana Polyakova (milkmaids), etc. All of them are working hard”, - said the head of the farm Brilliant Khairullina.
