Today Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food o fthe Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov visited Menzelinsk and Aktanysh municipal districts of the republic of Tatarstan with the aim to examine the progress of fodder procurement.
Having examined the fields in Menzelinsk municipal district, Marat Akhemtov met investors, directors, specialists of enterprises and heads of villages. The meeting took place on the field of “Zaikovskiy” company, where perennial grass cutting is going on at full speed. There were over 10 units of equipment performing various operations on the field.
The head of Menzelinsk municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan Aidar Salakhov told about a successful technology with the minimum expenses in crop growing. Since the previous year, a course has been taken for the renewal of perennial grass plantings. Every year 2,500 ha with perennial grasses are renewed. Enterprises sow new crops: except medick and shive there is also goat’s-rue, lupine and meliot on the fields.
“Fodder procurement is up to the mark, - noted Marat Akhmetov. – But it is necessary to gain pace.”
The minister answered the questions from directors of enterprises and district farmers, namely, about simplification of bank financing and lending, and wished farmers to have a successful fodder procurement campaign.
Having examined the fields together with the district head Fail Kamaev in Aktanysh municipal district, the minister met directors of enterprises, heads of villages and specialists from the local Directorate for Agriculture and Food on the field of “Bashak” company.
The minister praised the progress of fodder procurement in the district.
“In the district plantings of agricultural crops are in a good state. Farmers have been achieving great results for many years already”, emphasized Marat Akhmetov.
The minister noted that the great attention in Aktanysh municipal district is also paid to animal breeding.
At the end of the meeting, Marat Akhmetov answered the questions from villagers and congratulated them to the national holiday of Sabantuy.
