Egg festival “Skorlupino” takes place in Tatarstan

On June 25, 2016 the egg festival “Skorlupino” takes place in the farmstead of Skorlupino (the village of Pestretsy, Pestretsy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan).

Within the framework of the festival there will be a highly topical program including: a parade of egg and hen costumed character puppets, a stage show, “Egg exhibition” site where works of moderns artists as well as crafts from feather, egg shell, fabric and ceramics will be presented. There will be an “egg tree” – guests will have the opportunity to make a wish and hang an egg on the tree. Workshops devoted to cooking of egg dishes will be also organized, the entertaining program will include performances of Tatar pop starts.

At the festival young specialists from poultry farms will compete for the title of the best poultry enterprise in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Games will be organized for adults, for children there will be a special zone where entertainers will teach children to do egg crafts and play “Ko-ko” quest.

On “KoKoPark” site different kinds of birds will be presented. Among guests and participnats there will be a petting zoo and farm enterprise “Ostrich paradise”.
