Last week the International quality pastry festival “Cakes. Waffles. Cookies. Gingerbreads – 2016” took place in Moscow.
The organizing parties were the Association of confectionery industry enterprises “ASKOND”, the FSBSI Science and Research Institute for confectionery industry, the international industrial academy with support from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
The festival was held within the framework of the International Conference “Cakes. Waffles. Cookies. Gingerbread – 2016”.
40 enterprises of Russia and former Soviet republics took part in the contest, they presented 180 kinds of pastry.
The republic of Tatarstan was presented by the following enterprises: “Kazan bread baking plant #2”, “Kazan bread baking plant #3”, “Bakery and confectionery complex” (Kazan), “Zelenodolsk bread baking plant”, “Nizhniy Kamsk bread baking plant”. They brought 16 kinds of pastry and confectionery.
The Alliance of bread producers of the republic of Tatarstan was awarded with the diploma for high quality.
Following the results of the contest, Tatarstan enterprises won 9 gold medals. “Kazan bread baking plant #2”, “Kazan bread baking plant #3”, “Bread and confectionery complex” got medals for chak-chak. “Kazan bread baking plant #3” got a medal for cookies. “Bread and confectionery complex got a medal for the waffle nut cake. “Zelenodolsk bread baking plant” got medals for cakes “Praga”, “Monblan”, “Bushe”. “Nizhniy Kamsk bread baking plant” got a medal for cake “Jubilee”.
“Kazan bread baking plant #2” got silver medals for gingerbreads, “Kazan bread baking plant #3” – for cakes “Alyenushka” and “Symphonia vkusa”, “Zelenodolsk bread baking plant” – for cake “Medunitsa”, “Nizhniy Kamsk bread baking plant” – for cake “Kedrovy orekh” and “Pesochnaya poloska”.
“Zelenodolsk bread baking plant” was awarded with the bronze medal for gingerbreads “Souvenir”.
“Nizhniy Kamsk bread baking plant” was awarded with the diploma and the cup for the 2nd place in the category “the best cake décor and composition”.
