Tatarstan ameliorative potential was presented at the Volga Region agro-industrial forum

Representatives of ameliorative industry Mars Khismatullin, director of the FSBI "Directorate "Tatmeliovodkhoz", and Anvar Zlakov, director general at "Tatmeliotatsia" trust company, took part in the exhibition within the framework of the Volga Region agro-industrial forum.

In the exhibition halls the display of the FSBI "Directorate "Tatmeliovodkhoz" was organized. Stands and leaflets proved the great contribution of Tatartsan ameliorators into the development of AIC crop science, especially vegetable growing and potato growing.

Within 2 years of the implementation of the federal and republican special purpose programs in the sphere of land amelioration in Tatarstan, over 10,000 ha of arable lands were put into exploitation after construction and reconstruction, 162 water development works were reconstructed. Only within 2015 owing to the efforts of ameliorators there was construction at over 180 ameliorative venues.

Beside this, samples of modern sprinkling machines and pumping power equipment, as well as a range of pulse and drip watering machinery were presented. Farmers and investors got greatly interested in the information about this year measures of the state support in the sphere of land amelioration.

Mars Khismatullin, director at the FSBI "Directorate "Tatmeliovodkhoz", noted that within the framework of the federal and republican special purpose programs in 2016 subsidies for ameliorative works would be given to agricultural producers, namely for well drilling, purchasing of ameliorative machinery and equipment, maintenance and reconstruction of ameliorative systems, as well as for the power consumed at pumping for watering of agricultural crops. The subsidies will be allocated for the partial reimbrusement of expenses in the amount of 50-90% depending on the sphere.
