Tatarstan ameliorator was awarded with the medal of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation

Mars Khismatullin, director of the FSBI “Directorate “Tatmeliovodkhoz”, was awarded with the silver medal “For the contribution to the development of Russian AIC” on October 7, 2015. The medal was presented by Yevgeny Gromyko, 1st Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, at the ceremonial meeting with AIC best workers on the eve of the XVII Russian Agricultural Exhibition “Golden Autumn” and in relation to the forthcoming holiday – the Day of Agriculture and Processing Industry Employee.

Director of  “Tatmeliovodkhoz” thanked the administration of the federal agrarian office for the appreciation, paying attention to the contribution of every employee into the development of the sphere.

Mars Khismatullin has been working in the sphere of amelioration and agricultural water supply. With his direct involvement 320 dams and complex hydro-constructions were constructed and reconstructed, 24,500 ha of arable lands were put into operation, about 800 water wells were drilled and over 600 km of pipelines were put. On his initiative some grand unique programs on land amelioration in Tatarstan were adopted, which enabled to preserve Tatarstan AIC ameliorative infrastructure under harsh conditions of reforms in the country.

A great attention is paid to scientific and pedagogical work. Mars Khismatullin is a doctor for agricultural sciences, professor of Kazan Agrarian University, he is an author of more than 45 scientific articles, 3 monographs, over 10 teaching guides.
