Sowing campaign is about to fini9sh in Tatarstan

The sowing campaign is about to finish. It was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov at the republican session in the House of Government of the Republic of Tatarstan today.

7.8 thousand ha (86%) were planted with potato.

Speaking about vegetables, the situation is also good, emphasized Marat Akhmetov. Alongside with big producers, farm households are also active. Big producers are Biryuli, Kyrlai, Vyatskie Zori, Davletov, etc.

It is high time now to carry out the fungicidal treatment against diseases of winter crops, especially fro those who did not carry out the zero tillage.

The Ministry of Agriculture together with Kazan State Agrarian University launched the program “Training online workshop on arable farming”, where at 2 o’clock p.m. every Friday people can get consultation of scientists, ask questions and receive answers. There are a lot of questions, so such online seminar will help us to make decisions.

Marat Akhmetov also touched upon the way the agricultural issues are presented on web portals of municipal districts and recommended to intensify efforts in this sphere.
