International Agricultural Exhibition

On January 16-25, 2015, the international exhibition of foodstuff industry, gardening, agriculture and forestry “Green Week – 2015” takes place in the exhibition hall “Messe Berlin” (Berlin).

The Russian delegation is headed by the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian federation Nikolai Fedorov. The delegation includes representatives of both chambers of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, representatives of a number of federal ministries and administrative bodies, heads of regional executive authorities as well as representatives of educational, scientific institutions and agricultural businessmen.

The Tatarstan delegation is headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov.

Representatives of the following Tatarstan companies are going to Germany: “Tatpotrebsoyuz”, SSI “Tatar Agrarian Science and Research Institute” of the Russian Academy of Agriculture, “Service-Agro”, “Tatagroleasing”, “Tatspirtprom”, “Chelny-Broyler”, “Pestrechinka”, “Greenhouse Centers “Maisky”, etc.

The opening ceremony of the Russian display takes place on January 16 in pavilion 2.2. The latest technologies, investment and innovative projects of some Russian regions in the spheres of agriculture, foodstuff and processing industry, a wide range of consumer goods, popular craftwork items will be presented at the exhibition.

This year exhibition program includes a number of science-to-practice events, participation in which will facilitate business relationships between producers and consumers worldwide.

The most important events to participate for the official Russian delegation are the global foodstuff and agricultural forum, the summit of ministers of agriculture, the press-conference of the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian federation Nikolai Fedorov, as well as meetings with official representatives from foreign counties.
