Implementation of Ameliorative Programs in the Republic of Tatarstan under Discussion in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food

Today in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan the implementation of ameliorative programs in the republic in 2014 and the developing strategy for amelioration 2015-2020 were discussed. The session was chaired by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Gabdrakhmanov.

As it was reported in the course of the meeting, in 2012-2014 over 220 km of the major pipeline were run. In 2014 amelioration divisions were conducting repair-recovery and construction work at 158 amelioration sites.

Subsidies for the ameliorative work are given to agricultural producers for the partial reimbursement of construction and reconstruction expenses as well as drilling (90% of the expenses on the work done from the beginning of construction or reconstruction of venues); for partial reimbursement of expenses on electricity consumed during the work of water pump stations for crops watering (50% of the expenses); for partial reimbursement of expenses on purchasing of ameliorative machinery and equipment (80% of the expenses net of VAT).

Within the framework of the federal special purpose program “Amelioration development of agricultural lands in Russia 2014-2020”, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russia Federation holds a competitive tender among state programs of constituent entities of the Russian Federation in the sphere of amelioration in order to allocate subsidies from the federal budget for co-financing of the regional program implementation in 2015-2017.

Entry criteria, necessary documents, etc. were discussed during the session.
