34% of the total harvesting area have been thrashed in the Republic of Tatarstan

In the Republic of Tatarstan 545,000 ha (34% of the total harvesting area) have been thrashed. Gross grain yield is 1,234,000 tons including 494,700 tons of winter wheat. The data were presented by Deputy Prime Minister of the republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov at the republican session in the Government House of the republic of Tatarstan.

The session was held by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov as a videoconference with all municipal districts of the republic. Prime Minister of the republic of Tatarstan ildar Khalikov also took part in the session.

Marat Akhmetov reported that crop yield in the republic was 22.5 dt/ha including winter wheat yield with 23.8 dt/ha.

The Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan spoke about the weather forecast for the nearest future and the rates of harvesting campaign in municipal districts.

According to the data by August 1, 2014 livestock in agricultural enterprises is 747,700 (101%) in comparison with the data by January 1, 2014. Marat Akhmetov paid attention to the positive dynamics in this sphere.
