Tatarstan producers took the 1rts places at Moscow Halal Expo 2014

In June the 5th Moscow International Halal Exhibition “Moscow Halal Expo 2014” took place at the All-Union Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy. It was the biggest and the most diverse exhibition devoted to the development of halal business in our country as well as in CIS and Europe.

The organizing party of the event was the Russian Council of Muftis. The exhibition was held with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Moscow government and the Islamic Center of Trade Development.

There were displays of 160 companies from 20 countries. They were united into 12 sectors: “Foodstuffs”, “Tourism and Service”, “Perfumery and Cosmetics Products”, “Style and Fabric”, Public Catering”, “Health and Sport”, “Education and Publishing Business”, “Finance and Investments”, “Services and Technologies”, “Media”, “Art and Jewelry”, “Public Organizations”.

Companies from Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Belorussia, Great Britain, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Morocco, UAE, Pakistan, Palestine, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Tunis, Turkey and Uzbekistan took part in the exhibition.

There were also companies from more than 30 regions of our country: Moscow, Saint-Petersburg; Moscow, Yaroslavl, Vladimir, Belgorod, Leningrad, Penza, Nizhniy Novgorod, Chelyabinsk districts; republics of Mordovia, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Chechnya, Ingushetia, Dagestan, etc.

Over 10000 people visited the exhibition during 4 days of its work.

16 companies were awarded with “Halal Product” Award in different nominations.

Producers from Tatarstan “Chelny Broiler” LLC (“Poultry”) and confectionery factory “BAYAR” LLC (“Confectionery”) took the 1st places.
