Applications are now open for the "Russian Rural Bakers' Cup" competition.
The All-Russian "Russian Rural Bakers' Cup" competition is held by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture as part of the "Integrated Rural Development" state program.
The main goal of the competition is to promote and encourage achievements in regional bakery, expand labor market opportunities for rural residents, identify best practices in baking, enhance the professional skills of young and experienced bakers, and attract qualified specialists to strengthen and develop rural areas.
The competition is open to bakers, pastry chefs, and other baking professionals representing small and medium-sized businesses located in rural areas.
The Cup is held in two stages: remote and in-person (final). The final is scheduled for June 2026. In the first stage, participants must submit materials that allow them to evaluate the level of production organization, the professional competencies of their team, and the quality of their products. Based on the selection results, the top 20 bakeries will advance to the competition finals.
