Tatarstan produced over 2,370,000 tons of milk for the first timе

According to preliminary data, milk production in the Republic of Tatarstan reached 2,370,000 tons in 2025, with an increase of 82,000 tons, representing a 103.6% increase compared to 2024 results. Average cow productivity was 8,830 kg, with an increase of 556 kg compared to the previous year.

Large investment companies operate in the republic: Ak Bars Holding Company JSC, Krasny Vostok Group of Companies LLC, Agrosila JSC, AgroInvest Management Company LLC, Avgust-Agro Management Company LLC, Soyuz Agro LLC, Chistopolye Holding Company JSC, Kamsky Bekon LLC, and EkoNiva Group of Companies.

Based on the results of 11 months of 2025, the top ten leaders in terms of milk production volumes include agricultural enterprises: LLC APC "Prodprogramma" in the Mamadyshsky district - 94.4 thousand tons, LLC "Kamsky Bacon" in the Menzelinsky district - 75.8 thousand tons, LLC "Vakhitova" - 47.3 thousand tons, JSC "Krasny Vostok-Agro" Alkeevsky district - 41.5 thousand tons, Severnaya Niva Tatarstan LLC of Bugulminsky district - 39.8 thousand tons, Soyuz Agro LLC of Aznakaevsky district - 34.9 thousand tons, PMK LLC of Sabinsky district - 30.9 thousand tons, Krasny Vostok-Agro JSC of Zelenodolsk district - 28.7 thousand tons, LLC "August-Muslyum" Muslyumovsky district - 26.3 thousand tons, and Aznakai Agricultural Company LLC in the Aznakayevo District—24.1 thousand tons.

Currently, the Republic is fully self-sufficient in livestock products. Per capita production exceeds the consumption standard for milk by 61%, meat by 18%, and eggs by 32% (the standard is: milk - 325 kg, meat - 73 kg, eggs - 260).

The construction of dairy complexes is considered a key factor in increasing milk production.

This year, 18 dairy complexes, designed for 10,176 head of cattle, were commissioned. Among the largest are "Avgust-Kaibitsy" in the Kaibitsky District (3,700 head), "Vakhitovo" in the Kukmorsky District (1,002 head), the Saetov farm in the Agryzsky District (700 head), "Mayak" in the Baltasinsky District (600 head), and "Kyzyl Yar" in the Arsky District (500 head). Additionally, 19 investment projects, representing 15,000 head of cattle, are at various stages of implementation.

In the Republic of Tatarstan, the establishment of feed centers is a priority. Currently, 58 centers are operational in 24 districts, serving over 215,000 head of cattle in agricultural enterprises. Of these, five new centers, accommodating 13,800 head, have opened this year. Construction is currently underway on three feed centers in the Arsky, Atninsky, and Sabinsky Districts.

Increasing milk production in Tatarstan will contribute to strengthening food security for the region and the country as a whole, which is an important part of the national project "Technological Support for Food Security." The project aims to strengthen Russia's agro-industrial complex and achieve technological independence in the production of key food products.
