"Sabantuy - 2025" awaits guests at the Kazan Hippodrome
Sabantuy is a Tatar folk festival dedicated to the end of spring field work and the celebration of fertility. In 2025, Sabantuy in Kazan will be held on June 21 at three sites - in the birch grove of the village of Mirny, in the forest area of Lebyazhye and in the birch grove of Derbyshki.
Also on June 20 from 17:00 on the territory of the Kazan Hippodrome there will be an equestrian festival dedicated to Sabantuy. Guests will enjoy a rich program, including performances by Tatar pop stars - Rayaz Fasyikhov, Vadim Zakharov, Zainab Farkhetdinova and Salavat Fatkhetdinov, exciting horse races, as well as a variety of entertainment for the whole family. The event is included in the "Summer in Tatarstan" campaign.
On this day, 14 prizes will be raffled off among riders, including: the "Sabantuy - 2025" prize, the "Federation of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan" prize, a prize in honor of rural workers, a prize in honor of grain growers of the Republic of Tatarstan, etc.
An extensive entertainment program has been prepared for children, including free master classes, a children's area with horse and pony rides, tractor races, face painting and national competitions with prizes. The interactive zones "Cybercavalry", "Pegasus Express", "Little Humpbacked Horse" and "Robo Races" will allow children to immerse themselves in the world of modern technology and folk tales. Thematic master classes, a city of professions, ponycycle races and a phygital zone with a racing car will add even more vivid impressions.
For adult guests, the Self-Employed Festival will be held on the first floor, where more than 20 entrepreneurs will present exclusive jewelry, home decor, stylish leather and wood products, as well as original souvenirs. For everyone interested, there will be master classes on Kazan stitch, tambour embroidery and weaving on looms. Visitors will also find a fair of farm products, a food court area, themed photo zones and an interactive cyber sports zone.
Everyone who comes in a national costume or with an element of a national costume will receive free ice cream.
