Sowing campaign was completed and fodder harvesting began in Tatarstan

Today, a briefing was held in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan on the completion of the sowing campaign and the widespread start of fodder harvesting. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov and Director of the Tatarstan regional branch of Rosselkhozbank Lyalya Kudermetova took part in it.

The sowing campaign has been completed in the Republic of Tatarstan on an area of ​​over 2.7 million hectares, including 1.7 million hectares of spring sowing. In total, in the structure of sowing areas, grain crops occupy 1.3 million hectares, fodder crops - 752 thousand hectares, oilseeds - 583 thousand hectares, sugar beets - 53.7 thousand hectares.

Also, the harvesting of forage has begun throughout the republic. To date, 71.7 thousand hectares of perennial grasses have been mown (21% of 348 thousand hectares), 372 thousand tons of haylage and 18 thousand tons of hay have been harvested. Per 1 conventional head, there are 2.7 centners of forage units, which is 6.8% of the need.

This year, it is necessary to harvest about 3.3 million tons of haylage, 3.7 million tons of silage and 330 thousand tons of hay.

The Minister noted that due to the optimization of grain and forage crop areas, the area of ​​oilseed crops has increased by 100 thousand hectares. In addition, the area of ​​potato planting has increased by 1.2 thousand hectares - up to 5.6 thousand hectares.

Funding for spring field work this year amounted to 42.1 billion rubles, which is 3.3 billion rubles more than the year before. Most of the funds were spent on fertilizers - 15.1 billion rubles, another 3.5 billion rubles were allocated for seeds, 6.1 billion for plant protection products, 8.6 billion rubles for fuel and lubricants and spare parts, and the remaining 8.8 billion for other expenses, including wages.

“The share of domestically bred seeds is growing. As is known, the Doctrine of Food Security establishes the provision of sowing with seeds of the main agricultural crops of at least 75% of domestic selection by 2030, which corresponds to the objectives of the national project “Technological Support of Food Security,” Marat Zyabbarov noted.

According to him, this year 53% of the area occupied by sugar beet is sown with seeds produced in Russia, although last year this figure was only 8%.

As for other crops, the figure for corn is 70% and has not changed since last year. The share of domestic sunflower seeds increased from 43% to 61%, rapeseed - from 51% to 60%, and soybeans - from 45% to 53%.

Lyalya Kudermetova noted that Rosselkhozbank has been operating in the Republic of Tatarstan since 2006. During this time, about 300 billion rubles have been directed to the republic's agro-industrial complex, and more than 200 investment projects have been financed.

Over the past four years, Rosselkhozbank has directed more than 23 billion rubles to implement investment projects, including six large investment projects worth more than 7 billion rubles. The largest dairy farms and livestock complexes appeared in Muslyumovsky, Aznakaevsky, Leninogorsk and Bugulminsky districts.
