On March 6 and 7, within the framework of the exhibition "TatAgroExpo", the first competition in the republic "The Best Dairy Product of Tatarstan" will be held. Well-known brands will take part in the competition.
The evaluation of the contestants will be carried out by an independent commission, which will include representatives of industry unions of state institutions and departments. Preliminary laboratory tests of goods purchased in retail outlets will be carried out for compliance with product safety and quality.
At the site of Kazan Expo, during the days of the exhibition, an expert commission will conduct an open organoleptic* assessment of the quality of products under classified trademarks. The winner will be determined based on the conclusion of laboratory tests and the number of points scored by the members of the commission. Thus, they will choose the best semi-hard cheese (Russian variety) and the best butter (Krestyanskoye variety 72.5%).
The winner in the broader nomination "Best Dairy Brand of the Republic of Tatarstan" will be chosen by popular vote. Each guest of the TatAgroExpo exhibition will be able to taste the products of dairy plants in our region and vote for the best.
Tasting and competition will be held in Pavilion No. 1 of the exhibition center
"Kazan Expo", dedicated to the new section of the exhibition - "Food and processing industry". Here will be presented industrial refrigeration equipment, equipment for storage, processing and packaging of agricultural products; filling, capacitive, dosing and weighing equipment; solutions for food production automation; industrial sanitation, hygiene and much more.
